Here's two commissioned drawings I did recently for a band from England: Blue-John Benjamin & His Amateur Humans.  Video Forthcoming!  It's about an alien invasion by humanoid cats with lasers for eyes.  How could I say no?  The song's lyrics are riddled with pop culture and historical references - but by far the best thing about this was the excuse to draw Morrissey.

Sometimes a good distraction is the best thing for your focused studio practice - tired eyes and minds need to breathe.  Granted I tend to think I have more time for this kind of thing than I really do - but I have to go with my feelings and let my inner motivator say "YES."
